Well I just finished packing up603 eastlake, the house that was Jenn
and mine first home. It was funnny to think about all the times we
shared in that home. But it was sad to leave because we have been so
blessed in it. Yet I know that God will bless us anywhere we go. It is
just a house but it will always be our first home. But I got to
thinking that we as Christians are not home yet. For there will be a
moment there be a place where we will see our savior and fall in His
embrace so lets not grow weary or content to stay. Plus moving into
heaven will be a lot easier. So now it's on to a new chapter and a
new home. God has blessed us here in Albuquerque and I know He will do
the same in cville.

Almost Home
Ariel and I just drove out of Memphis and are now on our way to
Nashville. We've driven for almost 20 hours and I am now almost home!
Kevin and Jenn have been kind (and brave) and are letting Ariel and I
stay at their home until our appartment is available. We will be
visiting my aunt, uncle, and cousins in Knoxville, TN this weekend,
and then spending a touristy day in Nashville on Monday. Ariel leaves
Tuesday morning, and Nate and our home (the moving truck) arrive
Wednesday for our big move in day! It's all really happening! I can't
believe it! Pray for safety for Nate, his dad, and Denver as they
drive out Tuesday and Wednesday. I miss New Mexico already, especially
our families, but am excited for the future God has for us here! Giddy
Up!

This is it!
Almost our entire home was loaded into this truck today. We are worn
out! Today my mom and I cleaned part of our house as Nate and Denver
worked tirelessly (sp?) loading the beast of a moving truck we rented.
Apparently we don't have 26 feet of moving truck worth of house to
move. Nonetheless, things are moving along. Several amazing ladies are
coming over tomorrow to help clean and then Ariel and I head out EARLY
Thursday morning on our two day journey to Clarksville! Here we go!

Less than a week!
This is my last Saturday living in Albuquerque, NM. I really can't
believe the time has gone so quickly. We've been planning and
prepairing for this move for half of a year and itbis now here. I have
my job all lined up. I start at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville
at the ICU on July 6th. It's so strange to realize that all of this is
really happening! I leave on June 25th with Ariel and we'll be staying
with our friends and my aunt and uncle for a little bit until Nate,
our dog, and the moving van arrive on July 1...just in time to move
into our new apartment. For now, the next few days entails packing the
rest of our stuff, cleaning our rental condo, and saying our final
goodbyes to our family and friends. We're so excited and can't wait to
get out to Clarksville and begin God's work there!

A healthy heart
Calm, unusually slow nights at work always makes for an adventure!
Tonight, we decided to make sure everyone was alive and healthy,
because how can we take care of others if we ourselves are dying.
Well, it's official, and I have the paper to prove it! I have a
healthy heart! Perfect, well almost, Normal Sinus Rhythm, with a
respiratory arrythmia (very common in healthy young adults). I've
concluded, then, as I've always known, that I need to conscientiously
give my worrying hypochondriac mind over to the God who is in control
of this universe, much less, my own body! He made me and cares for me
and has had a plan for me and my health from the beginning. He is all
that matters, and it is not my earthly health that I should be
concerned with, but my spiritual health!

Change is a-comin'
Sitting here at work on one of my last lunch breaks ever in the UNMH
MICU. Working here has been such a blessing and an adventure! Just
tonight I've realized what amazing friends and co-workers I've had
that have helped to shape me into the nurse that I am today. Of course
none would be possible without my Lord Jesus. I find that He guides my
every step and thought processes to be able to care for these
extremely sick people. And now, I look ahead to the future...to caring
for the people of Clarksville TN and await with anticipation to see
what God has already prepaired me for here, to do there. I'm excited
to meet new co-workers and care for new people and most of all,
excited to see the impact that Christ will have on the lives of those
that I meet, all by being His vessle!
